PWR-F-RS232-S is a plug-and-play Wi-Fi uncovered module. It is a RS232 to Wi-Fi complete Converter.
The PWR-F-RS232-S is server type Wi-Fi module. It is characterized by the capability to create a Wi-Fi network with its own IP factory editable and allow other Wi-Fi devices to connect to it.
Like other Compact modules it permits ad hoc mode and infrastructure operation mode.
TRANSCEIVER AND POWER SUPPLY
Wiicom supplies a solution for the transceiver needs that combines powering and interfacing. PWR-F-RS232-S is equipped with a RS232 transceivers to communicate with the host.
In addition it can ben supplied with a voltage between 7 and 28Vdc, for an industrial and all-day use.
NO SOFTWARE NEEDED
The PWR-F-RS232-S modules are immediately ready to be used. Thanks to Wiicom configurator software, available on wiicom website, user can define all Wi-Fi network settings.
There’s no need to develope or modify any software on the host board.
