PWR-F-RS232-CS is a client / server type Wi-Fi module: this means that it is able to autonomously connect to a server, also public, and communicate with it. It can simulate a wire cutting between two devices used combined with a PWR-F-RS232-S module.

Like other Compact modules it permits ad hoc mode and infrastructure operation mode.

TRANSCEIVER AND POWER SUPPLY

Wiicom supplies a solution for the transceiver needs that combines powering and interfacing. PWR-F-RS232-CS is equipped with a RS232 transceivers to communicate with the host.

In addition it can ben supplied with a voltage between 7 and 28Vdc, for an industrial and all-day use.

CLOUD READY

PWR-F-RS232-CS client/server versions are able to connect directly to many servers, also with public ips, and start a communication with them. In addition they are able to make a connection with a Cloud service, like Wiicom Sense Cloud.

NO SOFTWARE NEEDED

The PWR-F-RS232-CS modules are immediately ready to be used. Thanks to Wiicom configurator software, available on wiicom website, user can define all Wi-Fi network settings.

There’s no need to develope or modify any software on the host board.
